This means that both email computers (sender and recipient) were unable to transfer email between themselves within the specified delivery window (of the sending mail server), which usually takes 6 days.

Message Delayed: Message Expired Before Installation Completed

The email message has not yet been delivered because the web system considered the message too old to retrieve. Processing may have been delayed.

Check the recipient address you entered to make sure it’s correct and send the message again.

If that doesn’t work, consider contacting the primary recipient(s) via a different email address or other method.

    4.4.7: Official Definition

[RFC3463] (Standards Track) Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) definitions for coupon codes beginning with 4.X.X:

A persistent failure is a failure where you find that the sent message is valid, even though maintaining the temporarily enabled state causes the attempt to send the message to be canceled or delayed. If a specific code is attached to a delivery error report, it may still succeed in the future.

[RFC3463] (standards tracking) from Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) filing for code ending in X.4.7:

The message was considered too old by the rejection system, either because there were too many conflicting things on this site, or because the time-to-live value required by the sender of the recipients was exceeded. If possible, instead of this code, the computer code of the problem that occurs on each attempt should be returned Delivery ke.

  • Troubleshooting: This rule usually indicates a problem on all receiving servers. Check the validity associated with the recipient address and ensure that the receiving server type is configured to properly receive messages. You may need to reduce the number of people in the voicemail header for the host from which most people receive this NDR. If you send the message again, it will be back in the queue. Can t send email to specific domain error 4. 4 7?

Error 4.4. The top 7 may have several very good reasons. This may be due to temporary network or Internet connection issues caused by the target domain or the recipient’s high anti-spam settings.

One thing you can try on most email sender servers is to speed up the SMTP virtual server delay and timeout notification settings.

To access most of these settings in Exchange 2003, open System Manager and navigate to Servers – Your Server Email Name – Protocols – SMTP. Right-click the SMTP virtual server – Properties – Translation tab.

I changed my late payment notification from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM and the timeout has timed out from 2 days to 4 days. You must adjust these settings to suit your particular environment. reason

On the other hand, if you didn’t get a PTR (reverse DNS) DNS record for your mail server, you might experience these errors, especially with AOL contact recipients. AOL explains:

"AOL requires that all Mail Transfer Agents it encounters have an opposite DNS set, regardless of whether they areWhether it's the closest match to a domain or not."

    smtp delivery error 4.4.7

This means that your messages sent to AOL will fail if your mail server does not have a reverse DNS entry.

    smtp delivery error 4.4.7

AOL has a page where you can enter your mail server’s IP address to see if AOL can find the appropriate reverse DNS entry. If you are unsure of your mail server’s alternate IP addresses, you can find them again using your domain name.

Also note that setting up reverse DNS is not exactly the same process that you go through when assembling a hostname or other record. Forward (normal) DNS allows you to set up your own nameservers with your website’s URL registrar, such as Network Solutions. When resolving DNS, you must contact your ISP to create a host record. The reason for this is, of course, that the ISP is also solely responsible for your IP address, and only they can check if your mail server is really located on that particular IP address.
